Viride
Bitter herbs and coniferous woods give this green fragrance its deep, vigorous character.
Perfumer: Alessandro Gualtieri
Viride draws on the traditional floral crown worn by a Yemeni man and the character of a carefully cultivated garden. It imagines deep roots supporting vigorous growth above them. Its green expression is herbal and woody rather than simply a light impression of cut grass.
Bitter wormwood and artemisia meet the aromatic freshness of lavender and the softer floral texture of jasmine. Fir, juniper and cedar bring a coniferous woody aspect, with dry tobacco depth and supporting musk.
Choose it for leaves, branches and dry herbs rather than sweetness. A walk, time outdoors or clothes suited to a restrained green character make natural companions.
Alessandro Gualtieri made this parfum in 2014. The clear rectangular 50mL bottle has a gold metal cap inset with guaiacum wood from Ecuador.
