Bergamask

Bergamask places bright citrus against the dense, bodily character of musk. Its starting point is the tension between attraction and repulsion: a fresh surface with something less polite beneath it. This gives the citrus character more weight than a light cologne.

Bergamot and lemon bring brightness, while lavender adds an aromatic edge. Orange blossom and lily of the valley soften the floral texture. Musk, dry cedar and rounded tonka give the composition density without turning it into a sugary citrus scent.

It suits days when citrus should feel assertive, or when skin-like musk matters more than floral sweetness. Start with a small application and judge its presence on your own skin.

Alessandro Gualtieri created this parfum in 2014. The clear rectangular 50mL bottle has an antique-gold metal cap inset with light horn from Ethiopia and Somalia.
