Cuir Végétal gives leather a dry outline through Atlas and Virginia cedarwoods, with cumin adding a small spicy accent. For its leathery character, Olibanum chose black oud, also identified as Aetoxylon, a wood distinct from conventional agarwood. The house introduces the history of leather notes through Russian boots waterproofed with birch tar, then explains its own choice of this naturally leathery wood.
