red_wood imagines a giant redwood through the dry woody-amber character of Norlimbanol. Frank Voelkl places different materials around an imagined tree, connecting its roots, trunk and canopy.

Perfumer Frank Voelkl imagined the molecule running through every fiber of a conceptual tree. In the brand's telling, suede, patchouli and musky notes sit at the roots; cyclamen, rose petals and pimento berries rise through the trunk; juniper, eucalyptus, bergamot and star anise fill the canopy. Leather-like, floral and green facets become parts of the same imagined tree.
