night serum takes its cue from overnight skincare: the smooth, comforting richness of a luxury beauty serum, translated into scent. Nomenclature describes the opening as a splash of face toner, followed by a floral layer and finally a resinous one, and the notes are arranged in that three-step order.
Lemon zest brings a sharp, clean acidity, cassis adds a tart, slightly green bite, and saffron lends a dry warmth. Together they feel brisk and bracing, the scent equivalent of the first step in an evening routine.
At the center sit Turkish rose absolute and jasmine sambac, which the brand frames as a floral elixir. The rose is full and rounded, the jasmine sweet and dense, and they give the bright opening a softer body.
Black amber, incense and patchouli form the base. Resinous sweetness meets dry smoke and earthy patchouli, drawing the citrus and flowers into a quieter, darker tone. Because the progression from citrus to flowers to resin is so clearly drawn, it suits the last spray of the evening, in keeping with its idea.
