A radiant citrus-floral built on Paradisone, unfolding a Sicilian orange tree in blossom, fruit and leaf.
Perfumer: Frank Voelkl
efflor_esce imagines a Sicilian orange orchard in blossom, fruit, leaf and twig. Frank Voelkl uses the jasmine-like radiance of Paradisone to give the landscape an airy floral setting.
The notes are Paradisone (citrus-floral), neroli, tuberose, bergamot, bigarade and osmanthus. Bergamot adds a peppery sparkle, osmanthus a soft apricot-and-suede texture, and tuberose a dense, heady trail. Neroli and bigarade carry the blossom and bitter-fruit sides of the orange tree.
Because bright citrus and full white flowers share the same airy space, it suits moments when a plain citrus feels too slight but a heavy floral feels like too much.
