Week-end in Normandy pictures a quiet moment in the Norman countryside. Patricia’s memories of spring apple blossom and lily of the valley in morning air inform its relationship between green plants and flowers.
Bergamot, lemon and galbanum meet tarragon, basil and mint. Cardamom adds a sharper edge beside lily of the valley and jasmine, while oakmoss, cedar, leather and musk give the green character a quieter grounding.
