Chasing Light 19.10
Bright bergamot and tart tamarind meet orchid, vanilla and musk, inspired by Peter’s dream of chasing a girl through sunlight.
Perfumer: Bertrand Duchaufour
In Peter’s dream, a girl appears in a mirror inside a sunlit room, then vanishes as orchids fall. Later she rides a sunbeam, and his attempt to catch her ends in an embrace of warm light. Bertrand Duchaufour gives that elusive brightness an opening of bergamot and tamarind, combining citrus freshness with a fruit-sour accent. Orchid softens the heart before vanilla, ambergris and musk form the base. The eau de parfum links a bright, tangy beginning to a warmer floral sweetness, echoing the shifting sensations of the dream.
