Sandflowers
A wild coast and woody sea breeze inspire rosemary, thyme and orchid over tonka, labdanum and immortelle.
Perfumer: Pierre Montale
Sandflowers pictures a pause on a wild coast. Montale imagines salty ocean air and juniper berries settling into sandalwood and oakmoss, creating a woody breeze kissed by the sea.
Rosemary and thyme open with fresher herbs and drier plant contours. Orchid adds softer flowers in the heart. Tonka bean, labdanum and immortelle absolute support the foundation through gentler sweetness, warmer resin and shading recalling dried flowers and grasses. The plants and warmer base give texture to the coastal scene described in its story.
The 50mL aluminium bottle carries a spray-retaining clip and charm. Pierre Montale offers herbs and flowers within a warmer setting, inviting their quieter details into focus.
