Brighton Rock

Brighton Rock takes inspiration from Graham Greene’s novel and the English seaside town of Brighton. Cool sea air and spray meet the sweetness of rock candy. Juicy impressions of blood orange, magnolia and water lily give colour to its nostalgic coastal setting.

Rose, geranium and iris provide the opening, leading to lily of the valley, jasmine, rose, sandalwood and an ozonic salty accord. Candy, heliotrope and musk form the base. Salty sea-air character sets off the powdery flowers and softer sweetness.

Wear it for a day off when a sweet fragrance should also have a fresher coastal aspect. A bright shirt or light informal clothes for a seaside walk can suit it. It offers the softer character of flowers and candy with a distinctly saline impression.

Composed by Julie Pluchet, the eau de parfum appeared in 2019 and launched in Japan on 24 October 2019. The illustrated 100mL presentation has a coral-pink rectangular body and gold cylindrical cap, expressing the brighter, nostalgic seaside subject through colour.
