Zen Elephant

Zen Elephant explores a balance in which flowers and woods complement one another. Hamid Merati-Kashani drew on the relationship of yin and yang when interpreting MCM's leather elephant character in 2025. Grapefruit's bitter brightness meets seaweed's green impression and freesia in the opening. Soft magnolia forms the heart, while cardamom's spice and the earthy depth of truffle add an unexpected shade to the flowers. Cedarwood, oakmoss and Ambrox then provide a quieter foundation. The composition offers a way to enjoy dewy flowers alongside woody and earthy textures, finding its calm expression in those relationships rather than through floral sweetness alone.
