Radical Rose Extrait de Parfum
Grasse rose meets Croatian immortelle, bringing a darker mineral impression between flower and salt.
Perfumer: Aurélien Guichard
Radical Rose Extrait introduces Croatian immortelle to reveal a deeper, more robust character around the rose. Guichard was drawn to an ingredient whose pronounced character lies between flower and salt. Its darker mineral impression gives the rose a different surrounding texture.
Organically grown Centifolia rose absolute from the house’s Grasse fields remains central. The original already uses the main ingredient at its highest possible dosage, so the extrait increases the overall perfume concentration and brings in immortelle. Different facets are developed around rose rather than claiming a further increase in rose absolute.
Consider it for an occasion when a floral fragrance should also carry drier shading, or for a quieter evening outfit. Created by Guichard and introduced in 2024, this extrait de parfum is illustrated in its 100mL presentation. Amber glass, a black cap and a dark label distinguish it from the eau de parfum.
