Metal Lavender
Metallic lavandin meets softer lavender, Cashmeran and musk, inspired by Provence distillation facilities.
Perfumer: Aurélien Guichard
Metal Lavender began with Aurélien Guichard’s visits to distillation facilities in Provence. Concrete, metal, the light, the scale of the buildings and their sounds gave a familiar material a less expected setting. Lavender becomes connected with an industrial landscape as well as its floral associations.
Organically grown lavandin from the house’s Grasse fields provides a vibrant, metallic facet. Softer organic lavender from Haute-Provence offers a contrast. Cashmeran contributes woody-musky and mineral texture, while musks round the whole composition; two different expressions of lavender remain at its centre.
Try it with a shirt for a day in the city, especially when aromatic freshness should also feel softer. Guichard created this eau de parfum, introduced in 2026. The illustrated 100mL presentation has transparent glass, a black cylindrical cap and a white label above a thick clear base.
