French Flower
French tuberose meets ginger, tea leaf and green pear, retaining the greener character of the flower.
Perfumer: Aurélien Guichard
French Flower recalls the scent released by tuberose fields in Grasse on cooler nights in late summer. Guichard wanted to capture the house’s own field in a bottle. White floral richness meets the freshness of a living flower with its stem still attached.
Organically grown French tuberose is expressed through absolute and enfleurage, a technique that transfers a flower’s fragrance into fat. Nigerian ginger amplifies its brighter floral aspect. Chinese tea leaf essence and a green pear accord underline the greener, more vegetal character.
It can suit an occasion when flowers are central to the dress or mood, especially when tuberose should also carry leafy and fruity freshness. Guichard created this eau de parfum, introduced in 2022. Pale gold liquid shows through the illustrated angular 100mL bottle, topped with a black cap above a white label.
