For Crystal Saffron Extrait, Guichard pictured myrrh as a luminous black colour. He chose the material to bring a rounder richness around the sharp, vibrant character of saffron. Resinous texture becomes a way of framing its brightness.
Greek saffron oil remains the central ingredient. The extrait uses a higher perfume concentration and an increased dosage of this main material, with myrrh oil from Somalia as the guest ingredient. The warmth of myrrh brings an ambery impression around the drier, brighter spice.
Consider it for an evening with a neat outfit or when saffron should also have a fuller resinous dimension. Created by Guichard and introduced in 2024, this is an extrait de parfum. The illustrated 100mL presentation combines amber glass with a black cylindrical cap and a dark label carrying lighter lettering.
