Crystal Saffron grew from Guichard’s first encounter with a natural saffron grown in Greece. Its clarity and brightness suggested a fragrance with a sharper outline as well as warmth. The house’s central-ingredient approach becomes a way to enlarge that crystalline impression.
Greek saffron oil sits at the centre. Its drier spicy character can suggest softer leather-like and more delicate floral facets, allowing warmth and a clearer edge to share the picture. The focus is the character of saffron, rather than a fabricated sequence of changing bouquets.
Consider it with a neat jacket or when exploring spice without a heavily sweet setting. Introduced in 2022, this eau de parfum is distinct from the myrrh-enriched extrait. The illustrated 100mL bottle uses transparent glass, a white label and a black cylindrical cap.
