Cologne Cedrat
Thick citron zest meets two peppers, bergamot and mate for a fresh, spicy and tea-like character.
Perfumer: Aurélien Guichard
Cologne Cedrat explores the thick zest of citron: raw freshness with an almost spicy edge. Guichard wanted that first citrus impression to extend into a longer trail. Cologne describes the fragrance idea in its name; the actual concentration is eau de parfum.
Italian citron oil is the central material. Madagascan black pepper and Argentinian pink pepper intensify the fresh spicy character. Italian bergamot and Paraguayan mate absolute bring a drier, tea-like facet around it, giving the citrus a fuller outline rather than treating it as lemon.
Consider it for a morning outing or when a shirt needs a sharper citrus companion. Created by Guichard and introduced in 2019, the fragrance is illustrated in its 100mL presentation. Pale golden liquid is visible through transparent glass beneath a black cap and a white label.
