Rivage

Inspired by a winter scene on the Atlantic coast, Rivage sets lavandin and mint against marine notes, then softens into sandalwood and orris.

リヴァージュ 100mL ボトル

Rivage begins with a scene the brand sets on the Atlantic coast in winter. A surfer rests in a parked car with the seat reclined, listening to the waves through fogged windows. The salt from yesterday's waves is still on the wetsuit, while a lavender sachet once slipped into a clean wetsuit cuts sharply through the cold air. The perfume is built on that contrast between brine and herbs.

The opening pairs lavandin with cool mint and a light mandarin peel, and pepper and cardamom add a dry, prickling edge. In the heart, violet leaf brings a green, slightly damp leafiness, and marine notes suggest chilly, salt-laden air. Sandalwood and orris form the base. Once the salt fades, they leave soft wood and a faint powdery finish.

Freshness and salinity lead over sweetness. It suits people who like herbal, aromatic scents and want a cold-season coastline rather than a sunny beach.
