Red Musc
A musk-centred fragrance with a soft, velvety texture, introduced through images of colour and flame.
Vermilion becomes glowing coals, blue becomes an alcohol flame and white becomes starlight. The poem introducing Red Musc moves through colour and light before arriving at red as musk.
Musk forms the centre of the composition, with a soft, skin-like character and a velvety body. Woody impressions sit beside that warmth. The title is best approached through texture and intimacy, rather than assuming a sharply spiced fragrance from the colour alone.
Alongside the black-glass 50mL bottle, the house offers a limited 100mL edition designed by Pierre Dinand. The different vessels give the same named fragrance distinct visual expressions.
