Rain seeps into the ground and scent rises from a quiet forest floor. Humus.Horizon 02 treats the breakdown and renewal of plant matter as a scene of reawakening. The house places it beside the earlier Humus, turning attention to soil stirred by rain.
Fresh undergrowth and shaded earth meet brighter floral impressions and a green pine character. A primrose-like association adds another plant dimension, suggesting small points of light close to the ground rather than an entirely dark woodland.
The black-glass bottle recalls old apothecary vessels. Within it, wood and earth share space with the sense of plants beginning to stir after rainfall.
