Black Uddù takes the sculpting of a cubist mask as its starting image. A leathery floral base is bent and darkened, while amber is polished into distinct facets. The idea gives the fragrance an interest in edges and shadow as well as in smoothness.
Floral softness meets the drier texture of leather and the warmth of amber. The image of a polished, aged surface adds another way to understand its sheen. These elements form a dark, warm composition rather than a sequence of separate floral, leather and amber stages.
A thick black-glass 50mL bottle gives that character a restrained, apothecary-like setting.
