Heavy Bubblegum
A loud pink fragrance built on a bubblegum accord, lipstick and watermelon, imagined as a bubble popping at the mic on an electric stage.
Perfumer: Pierre-Constantin Guéros
Heavy Bubblegum takes place on an electric stage at 11:12 PM. A bubble pops at the mic, a loud guitar riff explodes under pink spotlights, and the crowd shares a collective euphoria. L'Orchestre Parfum describes the result as an adrenaline-fuelled bubblegum that is at once regressive and carnal.
The main notes are bubblegum accord, lipstick, watermelon, white musk, rose oxide and vanilla. The bubblegum accord puts candy-shop sweetness right at the front. Lipstick layers in a smooth, cosmetic impression, and watermelon adds a juicy, light fruitiness, so the sweetness never turns flat. Together they read less like fruit candy and more like the pink glow of a stage.
Rose oxide contributes a slightly sharp, green-tinged floral edge rather than a full rose. White musk and vanilla give the bright sweetness a soft, skin-close roundness. The fragrance was composed by Pierre-Constantin Guéros, with music by SUN, the singer and guitarist behind the sound she calls Brutal Pop. The brand marks it Fortissimo at 110 BPM.
