Cèdre Gingembre
Cooler mint and brighter citron meet lively ginger, with cedarwood grounding a fresher, sea-breeze impression.
Perfumer: Julie Massé
Cèdre Gingembre draws on a cape where land and sea meet. Fresher sea air and zesty citron are imagined alongside spices and more grounded wood. This eau de toilette carries forward the scent formerly known as Cap Cédrat and, earlier, L’Homme Cologne Cédrat. Julie Massé created that earlier fragrance with its brighter outlook towards the Mediterranean. The current product presents this inherited scent in the 2025 design, connecting cooler mint and warmer ginger with quieter wood.
Mint contributes a cooler herbal feeling, suggesting a passing breeze. Citron also brings brighter citrus character around the fresher seaside impression. Ginger forms the heart with livelier spice and a softer warmth. Cooler herbs and warmer spice connect with the drier, more aromatic character of cedarwood. Quieter wood gives the fresher scent a more grounded outline. The combination suits someone who wants ginger and calmer wood around the brightness of citrus and mint.
Try it for a walk beside the sea or the morning of a journey, with a lighter blue shirt and cotton trousers. The selected 50mL bottle holds very pale, nearly colourless liquid in clear glass. Rounded shoulders meet a black cylindrical cap and ringed neck. The pale label displays Cèdre Gingembre on two lines, with the former Cap Cédrat name underneath. A rounded label edge and thicker glass base give its sea-breeze theme a gentler physical outline.
