Cèdre Encens draws on the strength and courage of the knights associated with the village of Les Baux de Provence. Cedarwood and frankincense combine warmer wood with a more mysterious resinous character. The current eau de toilette carries the fragrance formerly known as Eau des Baux into the 2025 Flora Orchestra design. Karine Dubreuil-Sereni created Eau des Baux, with spices and softer warmth supporting the stronger woody outline.

Brighter pink pepper provides a lively, spicy opening towards warmer wood. Frankincense forms the centre with smoother resin and a quieter, smoke-like shade. Cedarwood extends a drier, more aromatic woodiness in the base, with gentler vanilla sweetness also present. Spice and resin create more depth around the wood, while softer sweetness surrounds its stronger contours. The combination suits someone who enjoys wood and incense alongside calmer sweetness rather than sharper dryness alone.

Try it with a darker jacket or heavier knitwear on a cooler evening, connecting the warmer wood and quieter resin with deeper colours. The selected 50mL bottle combines pale golden liquid with clear glass and rounded shoulders. A black cylindrical cap sits above a ringed black neck. A pale label carries both Cèdre Encens and the former Eau des Baux name, with a rounded lower edge and thicker transparent glass base.
