Magnolia

Magnolia looks to Henri Rousseau’s naïve paintings for a scene of luxuriant jungle and a tropical island. The house compares wearing it to bathing in turquoise water. Arnaud Poulain created this eau de parfum in the Supercritique collection, introduced in 2019.

Osmanthus and orange blossom give the opening a softly fruity floral character. Apricot, fig and frangipani combine rounded fruit with tropical flowers in the heart. Ylang-ylang and vanilla bring a smooth, fuller floral texture and gentle sweetness to the base. The named flower is imagined through the meeting of several flowers and fruit rather than an isolated magnolia note.

A square black cap and a fine gold line on the label complete the white cylindrical 100mL bottle. It is a welcoming choice for a relaxed day when soft flowers and ripe fruit suit the mood.
