Gardenia
Tropical white flowers imagined in vanilla milk, with gardenia, jasmine and raspberry over patchouli and sandalwood.
Perfumer: Arnaud Poulain
Gardenia dresses a tropical white flower in a gourmand setting. The house imagines blossoms infused in vanilla milk, with impressions of red fruit and pear. Arnaud Poulain created this 2018 eau de parfum as part of the Supercritique collection.
Bergamot, pepper and rose introduce brightness and a spicy edge. Jasmine, gardenia and raspberry build the heart from full white flowers and tart sweetness. Patchouli, saffron and sandalwood provide earthy wood and warm spice underneath. Its milk-like imagery gives context to the flower’s richer character, balanced by a drier foundation.
Rounded shoulders and a square black cap define the white cylindrical 100mL bottle, with a fine gold line across its label. It offers a generous white-floral option for an evening out, particularly when a little fruit sweetness is welcome.
