Ambre Eau de Parfum
A winter fireside with apple tart and gingerbread imagery, expressed through honey, cinnamon, rum, tobacco and amber.
Perfumer: Amélie Bourgeois, Arnaud Poulain
The eau de parfum version of Ambre imagines a long winter day by the fire. Apple tart with cinnamon, freshly baked gingerbread and a velvet armchair form its comforting setting. Arnaud Poulain and Amélie Bourgeois created this 2019 fragrance in the Superfluide collection.
Honey, apple, cinnamon, sesame and bergamot make a sweet opening of fruit and spice. Rose, cardamom and fir balsam add flowers and coniferous resin in the heart. Amber, black vanilla, tobacco, rum and benzoin bring together rounded warmth, a spirit-like quality and the depth of leaves. Resin and tobacco give substance to the baking imagery.
The black cylindrical 100mL bottle carries a square black cap with fine gold detailing and lettering. It is a welcoming choice for a cold evening when sweet spice and amber feel more inviting than a fresh citrus composition.
