Tinharé
Red mandarin leads to jasmine, white woods and vanilla in a woody amber inspired by the islands of Bahia, Brazil.
Perfumer: Éric Fracapane
Tinharé recalls a voyage towards the islands of Bahia, Brazil, and a beach where time seems to stand still. Introduced in 2019 and created by Éric Fracapane, it translates that warm, distant setting into a woody amber built around citrus, flowers and vanilla. The fragrance moves from a juicy opening towards a softer, sweeter texture, using the contrast between those materials to suggest the unhurried atmosphere of an island stay.
Red mandarin gives the opening its brighter fruit character. Jasmine brings a gentler floral presence, with the white woods named by the French house supporting the heart. Vanilla absolute forms the base, adding depth and sweetness as the citrus settles. The result places the softness of flowers and wood between a lively opening and a more enveloping finish.
Consider it for a relaxed afternoon, or when you want a vanilla fragrance with a brighter fruity introduction. The 100mL bottle has a black cylindrical glass body, a broad black cap and a large dark front label. Gold-coloured lettering surrounds the framed botanical house motif, with Tinharé written beneath it.
