Hattaï
Red berries and cacao meet cinnamon, amber woods and smoky cade in a darker, warmer portrait of a wolf moving through deep forest.
Perfumer: Amélie Bourgeois
Hattaï imagines the silence of a deep forest interrupted by the measured step of a wolf. Introduced in 2019, this eau de parfum was composed by Amélie Bourgeois under the olfactory direction of Jean-Claude Ellena. Its portrait combines red berries, cacao and warmer woods, placing softer sweetness within a darker, more shadowed setting.
Red berries meet the spicier outline of red pepper before a more bitter cacao heart. Cinnamon and amber wood provide warmth, while cade adds a drier, smoky woody aspect. The relationship between sweeter fruit, cacao bitterness and the sharper textures of spice and wood gives the composition both softness and a more forceful outline.
Consider it for an evening when you want sweetness alongside smoke and wood, or a warmer accompaniment to your clothes. The 100mL bottle combines rectangular clear glass and pale amber liquid with a broad black cap. A framed botanical illustration sits beneath the house name, with Hattaï written towards the lower part of the front above a thick transparent base.
