Aqua Palmaris
Orange and petitgrain lead to neroli and softer white musk in a powdery floral imagining dawn in the gardens of the Alhambra.
Perfumer: Amélie Bourgeois
Aqua Palmaris imagines dawn reaching the gardens and orchards of the Alhambra. Introduced in 2020, this eau de toilette was composed by Amélie Bourgeois in collaboration with Jean-Claude Ellena. Ellena's account of visiting the gardens during the day and returning again at dawn provides a setting for a fragrance that brings a brighter citrus opening towards a softer, powdery floral character.
Orange meets petitgrain, bringing fruit beside a greener impression of leaves and small branches. Neroli absolute occupies the heart, with the fuller character of orange blossom. A white-musk accord gives the finish a gentler texture, extending the floral impression as the initial citrus becomes quieter. Fruit, greenery and flowers thus lead into a softer, lightly powdery finish.
Consider it before an outing or when you want a softer floral presence around you. The tall 100mL bottle combines cylindrical clear glass, pale golden liquid and a black cap. Its white front label carries a botanical emblem and the Aqua Palmaris name, above a thick transparent glass base.
