Aqua Millefolia
Lemon and curly mint meet verbena, galbanum and guaiac wood, imagining green plants in the hanging gardens of Babylon after summer rain.
Perfumer: Amélie Bourgeois
Aqua Millefolia imagines the hanging gardens of Babylon refreshed by summer rain. Introduced in 2020, this eau de toilette was composed by Amélie Bourgeois in collaboration with Jean-Claude Ellena. The setting becomes a greener interpretation of citrus freshness, suggesting herbs and plants carrying the moisture of a recent shower.
Lemon opens beside curly mint, whose softer sweetness gives the opening a different texture from citrus alone. Green verbena absolute forms the heart with galbanum, bringing a more pronounced green character. Guaiac wood provides a quieter woody finish, adding depth as the brighter citrus and herbal impressions become less immediate. Together, the materials move between sparkling freshness and a more grounded impression of growing plants.
Consider it for a brighter daytime outing or when you want greenery close by. The tall 100mL bottle combines cylindrical clear glass with vivid yellow-green liquid and a black cap. A white label carries the botanical emblem and Aqua Millefolia name, above a thick transparent glass base.
