Le Parfum
White tea, rose and creamy musk reinterpret the scent of Absolue skincare cream, bringing clearer brightness around a softer, velvet-like floral character.
Perfumer: Aliénor Massenet, Karoline Buxton
Le Parfum reinterprets the scented world of Lancôme’s Absolue skincare cream as an eau de parfum. Co-created by Aliénor Massenet and Karoline Buxton for the 2024 Absolue Les Parfums collection, it brings white tea and rose into contact with softer musk. The idea is a gentler, enveloping feeling on the skin, where floral richness has the calmer character of tea and a citrus-like brightness beside it.
The white-tea accord gives clear freshness to centifolia rose with its honey-like and pear-like sweetness. Creamy, milky musk surrounds the flowers with softness and a woody touch. The perfumers also refer to jasmine in their description of a velvet-like feeling made from rose and musk. Within the Halo construction, rose forms the centre, bringing brighter flowers and tea together with a softer texture close to the skin.
Consider it for a quieter outing or when you want to wear floral richness more gently, particularly if you enjoy the clearer impression of tea alongside creamy musk. The selected cylindrical 50mL bottle shows bright orange liquid beneath a gold-coloured cap. A round plaque bears Le Parfum and the brand name, while a sculpted rose appears in the thick glass base, giving the softer floral subject a defined outline.
