La Vie Est Belle L’Elixir portrays following your own heart and intuition through fruit, violet leaf and cocoa butter. Created jointly by Christophe Raynaud and Antoine Maisondieu, this 2024 eau de parfum brings violet leaf into an unexpected encounter with cocoa. A velvety softness meets brighter fruit and deeper leather, reflecting the idea of finding happiness through self-love. Its sweeter elements form part of a more textured floral expression.

The opening joins the fuller fruit character of a liquorous raspberry accord with sparkling bergamot. Violet leaf absolute contributes a softer floral feeling with leafy green detail, while rose heart absolute gives the flowers further depth. In the base, smoother cocoa butter absolute sweetness is accompanied by drier cedarwood and a leather accord. The brighter fruit opening leads towards a warmer, more tactile impression, for someone who wants glossy fruit alongside flowers.

Try it with softer knitwear or quieter clothing colours when you want a richer fruit accent and woody, leathery depth alongside cocoa sweetness. Suzanne Dalton reimagined the collection’s crystal smile as a sharper, jewel-like form. The selected refillable 50mL bottle shows a deep cherry-coloured expression through clear sculpted glass, with a glittering black collar and ribbon beneath a square transparent cap.
