Jodhpur 6AM
A cup of chai at dawn in a waking market: ginger, cardamom, black tea and warm milk, held together by tuberose.
Perfumer: Alexandra Mettetal, Bertrand Duchaufour
Dawn in Jodhpur, after a gruelling night on the bus. The city is grey and blue, a chai vendor holds out a cup, and its sweet scent mingles with the flowers being laid out in a market that is just waking up.
Tart fruit and sharp spice meet the creamy fullness of tuberose.
Ginger and cardamom bring a sharp edge before the black tea softens into warm milk.
