sphingidae
White flowers, thyme, white pepper, soft woods and musk portray queen-of-the-night flowers and nectar.
Perfumer: Hidenori Matsuno
Sphingidae takes inspiration from queen-of-the-night flowers and their nectar. Kilesa imagines their brief flowering and a figure approaching the flowers in darkness. Lemon, aromatic herbs and spice introduce richer white flowers within softer wood and musk.
Lemon, white thyme and white pepper open with brighter peel, aromatic leaves and spicy definition. Gardenia and queen-of-the-night create the heart, placing fuller, softer white flowers at its centre. Musk, sandalwood and amber form the base, supporting those flowers with gentler texture, wood and warmth.
It suits an evening when white flowers with herbal detail and calmer woods feel inviting. Their fullness offers contrast around the fresher opening. The rounded 50 mL clear-glass bottle carries a silver-coloured cap and its name printed directly on the front.
