étoile nocturne
Fig, black tea, flowers, fruit and vanilla suggest ripening figs at night, following a bright lemon-myrtle opening.
Perfumer: Hidenori Matsuno
Étoile Nocturne is a kilesa eau de parfum inspired by figs ripening quietly within a nocturne. The house imagines hidden feelings gradually released by the night, becoming a rich, sweet fragrance. Fruit, flowers and black tea give that scene different textures, moving from a bright opening towards a softer, sweeter finish.
Lemon myrtle, bergamot and apricot open the composition. The lemon-scented leaf brings brightness beside the rounder fruit. Rose, jasmine, fig and black tea form the heart, placing floral fullness and a dry tea detail around the fig theme. Amber, musk, vanilla and strawberry create the base, continuing the fruit through a smoother sweetness.
It suits an evening with music or a quiet moment when sweet fruit with a bright accent feels welcome. The contrast between lemon-scented freshness and the rounded base gives more variety than sweetness alone. Its 50 mL bottle has low, rounded clear glass, a rounded black cap and the fragrance name on the front.
