Gardenia sits at the centre of Kai Perfume Oil, surrounded by exotic white flowers that give the floral accord its rounded, tropical character. The fragrance grew from Gaye Straza’s memories of childhood summers spent with her family in Hawaii, where the smell of flowers remained closely tied to the place and its people. Made with essential oils in the blend, the perfume is applied directly to the skin with a rollerball. Its 3.6 mL cylindrical glass vial has a white cap and is about the size of a lip balm. That compact format makes it easy to carry and to use for a fragrance touch-up while away from home.
