Rose & White Musk
Jo Malone London's first Cologne Absolu: Damask rose deepened with oud and amber, set on a powdery white musk base.
Perfumer: Anne Flipo
An English rose blooming in the heart of the Arabian desert is the improbable image behind this scent. It was the first Cologne Absolu from Jo Malone London, a denser, bolder format that still holds on to the house's signature freshness.
The rose is Damask, picked and distilled at dawn, with three different extractions layered into the heart. Oud and amber give the fresh, petal-like sweetness real weight.
The scent opens straight onto the rose. White musk underneath is powdery and clean, softening the trail as it lingers.
