Redcurrant & Cream
A summer pudding in scent: tart redcurrant, ripe strawberry and raspberry rippling through creamy musk.
Perfumer: Christine Nagel
Think of a summer pudding, the dessert in which bread soaks up berry juice until it turns crimson. Redcurrant leads, tart, clear and vividly red.
Strawberries and raspberries bring riper sweetness and a fleshier body, so the fruit reads as a bowl of mixed berries rather than a single sugary note.
All that juice runs into a creamy musk, answering the cream in the name; it rounds off the sharpness and gives the scent a soft, skin-close texture. The Hong Kong Archive Collection presents it as a scent from 2012.
