Nashi Blossom
A whole nashi tree in scent: white blossom, crisp fruit, soft wood.
Perfumer: Fabrice Pellegrin
Nashi Blossom first appeared in 2016 and returned for Jo Malone London's 2023 Blossoms, a year the collection turned toward flowering trees in China. Céline Roux chose the nashi flower for its almost monochrome look, then set its delicacy against the juicy fruit it becomes.
Perfumer Fabrice Pellegrin says he pictured the whole nashi tree while composing it. Fruit and flowers carry the opening and heart, soft woods the base, so the scent follows the tree from blossom to fruit to branch.
A crisp bite somewhere between apple and pear meets a sharp green edge, alongside rose, soft woods and white musk.
