Earl Grey & Cucumber
Afternoon tea in cologne form: sparkling bergamot and crisp cucumber resting on a honeyed beeswax base.
Perfumer: Christine Nagel
Afternoon tea, the British ritual, is the starting point. The fragrance builds it from bergamot, the citrus that defines Earl Grey, paired with the cool, crunchy succulence of cucumber.
Bergamot sparkles at the top. Cucumber follows in the heart, green and refreshing, with the freshness of a cucumber just cut.
Underneath, beeswax adds honeyed depth with animalic accents and a hint of tobacco. The brand lists vanilla and musk alongside it in a sweet base. That warm, waxy layer is what keeps the crisp opening from feeling thin, and lets a little sweetness linger.
