Winter in Manaslu
Peppermint and star anise open with a cold snap, then pine needles and cypress give way to Himalayan cedarwood and sandalwood. Ambrette seed softens the dry timber with a quiet musk, like clear air on a snow-covered slope.

Winter in Manaslu takes inspiration from the snow-covered Nepalese Himalayas. The composition connects the clarity of highland wind with the aromatic character of herbs and conifers.
Peppermint arrives first: cold, clear, almost sharp. Basil adds a green edge, and star anise brings a sweet spice that keeps the opening from turning medicinal. Together they read like one deep breath of mountain air rather than three separate notes.
The heart moves into conifers. Clary sage gives a grassy calm, cypress adds dry timber, and pine needles carry a resinous green that recalls trees standing on a snow-covered slope. The cold stays, but the green bitterness gives the scent weight.
Himalayan cedarwood and sandalwood anchor the base. The cedar is dry and upright; sandalwood rounds it with a creamy softness. Ambrette seed, the musk mallow, wraps both in a quiet musk that leaves a trace of skin warmth inside the chill.
This is a fragrance for cold mornings and clear nights. A small amount on skin keeps the conifers and dry wood close to the body. Reach for it when you want the temperature of the air itself, not sweetness.
