Coeur Noir

Coeur Noir takes its name from the image of a dark, resinous heart of labdanum. Heretic frames the fragrance through shadowy romance and the lingering memory of a lover. Rosewood introduces the composition, leading to warm labdanum and a base of Madagascar vanilla. Benzoin contributes balsamic sweetness and a slight smoky edge, while black pepper gives the rounded resins a sharper contrast. Dry wood and creamy vanilla hold the central tension: a dark resin accord softened without losing its weight.
