Pacific Rock Moss
An aromatic aquatic inspired by Australia’s South Coast, with lemon, coastal moss, sage and geranium over cedarwood and white musk.
Perfumer: Carine Certain Boin, François Merle-Baudoin
Pacific Rock Moss imagines the sea air and summer light of Australia’s South Coast. The house describes it as its first formulation, an aromatic aquatic composed by François Merle-Baudoin and Carine Certain Boin.
Italian lemon meets an impression of Australian coastal moss in the opening. The mossy element suggests damp vegetation, cool stone and coastal air, bringing pale greenery and a mineral character alongside the sharper brightness of citrus. This meeting of lemon and a marine-green impression gives the coastal setting its first expression.
French sage and Egyptian geranium form the heart. Aromatic herbal freshness meets geranium’s combination of floral and leafy characters. The plant notes connect the coastal impression with the greenery of herbs and fragrant vegetation, giving the freshness several different textures.
Virginian cedarwood and white musk provide the base. Dry woody texture and soft musk support the lemon, aromatic herbs and coastal moss. Presented as an eau de parfum with a stated concentration of 20% essences and botanicals, Pacific Rock Moss brings bright coastal freshness together with the gentler warmth of wood.
