Magenta
A bright magenta translated through a sharply defined rose, questioning gendered colour associations and suggesting composed, vivid styling.
A vivid colour need not determine the gender of the person wearing it. Magenta began from that perspective. Yamashita wanted to express the composed brightness he perceived in people who dressed in this shade. Rose forms the scent’s centre, with a sharply defined outline. Floral elegance and a more upright clarity sit together in its character. It suggests another way to approach rose for someone accustomed to thinking of it mainly as sweet and soft. Wear it as though adding one vivid colour to an outfit, or use it as a base whose texture can be changed with a Fragrance Filter.
