Cyan may first suggest a refreshing blue, yet a slight darkening can introduce weight and depth. Yamashita took that range of impressions as his starting point. A sweet tobacco-leather character forms the base, bringing a quieter warmth and substance to the image of a bright blue. The sensation of moving below the surface of the sea is another part of the inspiration, used here as an image of colour and mood. The fragrance suggests a blue with more than lightness to offer, suited to an outfit with a little dramatic presence. It also provides a foundation for the textures of GARMENT’s filters.
