Vanilla for Breakfast

Beauty creator and vanilla enthusiast Mia Fall wanted a vanilla fragrance that could express itself from the opening. Vanilla for Breakfast approaches that idea through the soft milkiness of an extract upcycled from almond milk. Four vanilla extractions, including a tincture, a CO2 extract and a Madagascar absolute, explore different aspects of the material, from lighter impressions to an enveloping sweetness. Benzoin adds warmth, while roasted tonka gives the sweetness a toasted dimension. The result invites attention to vanilla’s different textures as well as its familiar, dessert-like appeal. The collaborator’s wish shapes the composition without reducing it to a single sugary effect.
