Byzantine Amber
A contrast of golden amber and dark leather, inspired by Byzantine mosaics.

The aged gold of Byzantine mosaics, particularly those of Ravenna, provides the image for this perfume. Bianchi translates their luminous surface and darker atmosphere into an amber composition.
Cinnamon warmth and rosy geranium meet benzoin and labdanum. Frankincense, leather, styrax and ambergris introduce smoky, mineral and animalic facets. Those darker elements give the familiar amber structure a more dramatic expression than warmth and sweetness alone.
