KIM portrays a character in whom beauty and sharpness, gentleness and intensity coexist. A dark rose wrapped in coffee and tobacco meets fuller white flowers, making that contrast central to the perfume. Floral richness is shaded by bitterness and the warmth of resins.
Rose, coffee and red wine introduce a roasted impression and the suggestion of ripe fruit in a spirit-like setting. Jasmine and tuberose increase the floral body. Tobacco and cistus add dry-leaf sweetness and a balsamic depth, so the flowers develop against a warmer, darker surface.
Labdanum and oakmoss bring together resinous sweetness and a mossy shadow. They are accompanied by 422 sandalwood and 422 myrrh, substitute accords reconstructed within the house’s material-selection principles. The composition gives rose several contrasting textures: roasted, floral, woody and resinous, all contributing to its chypre-like character.
