Wilde
Bergamot and citrus blossom meet marine freshness, green carnation and ginger, supported by woods and resins.
Perfumer: Penny Ellis
Wilde takes inspiration from Oscar Wilde’s individuality, freedom of expression and love for Alfred Douglas. The green carnation associated with him connects brighter citrus blossom with warmer resins. Created by Penny Ellis, the Eau de Parfum was introduced in 2024.
Bergamot and citrus blossom meet a cooler marine impression. Green carnation, ginger and white jasmine occupy the heart, giving flowers a greener, more spicy outline. Sandalwood, frankincense and benzoin form the finish, supporting the brighter opening with warmer wood and resinous depth.
Consider it for spring and summer outings, or when flowers and citrus should retain a more distinctive green edge. The Japanese house also suggests those seasons. The illustrated 100mL bottle has rectangular clear glass, a gold cap, a reddish-purple front label, pale yellow liquid and a thick transparent base.
